As Asset Manager – Water Services, you’ll
Maintain and improve asset management plans for water, wastewater, and stormwater, and contribute to wider infrastructure strategy.
Identify and scope capital projects and brief the programme delivery team.
Lead the asset renewals planning process and manage its implementation.
Coach and support the Asset Information Officer to ensure asset data is accurate, complete, and well maintained.
Oversee the maintenance and use of hydraulic models to inform planning, development, and investment decisions.
Drive continuous improvement of asset management systems and frameworks.
Build strong relationships with iwi, regulators, service providers, and the community.
Requirements
We’re looking for a natural collaborator who brings common sense, technical rigor, and a solutions mindset. You’ll have:
A tertiary qualification in engineering, asset management, or a related field.
5+ years’ experience in asset management planning — water sector experience is welcome but not essential.
Strategic capabilities with a data-informed decision-making approach.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A focus on delivery, improvement, innovation, and teamwork.
