About the opportunity:
It's an exciting time for Wollondilly with major town centres being planned and built. With growth comes opportunity and Wollondilly Shire Council in partnership with the NSW Government have an Apprentice Civil Construction position available forming part of the 'fresh start for local government apprentices, trainees and cadets'.
Are you passionate about the outdoors and ready to kick-start your career in Civil Construction? This exciting opportunity provides you the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gaining valuable hands-on experience while earning qualifications in the field. This full-time, fixed-term role combines practical, on-the-job learning with formal training, guiding you towards a qualification in Civil Construction.
To succeed in this position, you will meet the following criteria:
- A strong interest in Civil Construction and Maintenance
- A willingness to undertake physical work
- Willingness to learn the operation of machinery and plant
- General construction induction Card (white card)
- Current Provisional or Class C driver’s license
